ABOUT US
Founded in 1844, Western High School in Baltimore Maryland remains the oldest and most competitive all-female public high school in the nation and the third oldest public school in Maryland. In this documentary, we have spoken to some of the most finest graduates of Western High School. We interviewed alumnae that attended Western starting from the 1950's including Dr. Nancy Grasmick, former Maryland State Superintendent of Schools.
In this video we speak to a range professional women who share their Western experiences and shed some light on the rigorous academic program at Western. We talk to the current Alumnae Association President Aimee Ayers and the most former Preside nt Donnice Brown about leadership, the representation of Western High School and the importance of staying involved. We also talk to the Vice Principal Rhonda Clyburn about Western's rich traditions and sisterhood.
